If your Canon printer isn't working, perform Canon printer troubleshooting. Look for the following signs of trouble:

- The ink tank was not properly mounted or fastened. It might also be low ink.

- Misuse of the CD-R Tray for printed DVDs/CDs

- There must be a connection problem.

- You began printing with the back cover open.

- The printer driver doesn't recognize it.

- Misconfigured printer port (Windows)
